Well this sucks

It’s official. My brother is racist, and I don’t know what to do. He confronted me about the guy that I’m seeing, who happens to be mixed, and told me that he’d disown me if I were to ever get serious about him. I love my brother, I do, but who is he to tell me that I can’t be happy with a guy just because of the color of his skin? I don’t know what happened to him. Surely our parents didn’t do this to him. Oh yes, I know. The brainwashing effects of conforming to peer pressure must’ve turned my once sweet brother into some bigoted asshole. I really hope he’s just showing off for his friends, and he’s not really like this. I don’t know this guy. I miss my brother, who only ever wanted me to be happy.

So my teacher told us that two blue eyed people can’t have a brown eyed kid and this kid in my class said “but both my parents have blue eyes and I have brown eyes”.  The teacher said “so you’re adopted”.  THe next day the kid came in and told us that he confronted his parents about it and that they said he was adopted but wanted to wait for the right time to tell him.
